Clare Waite '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Clare and I love the sport of wrestling! I have been wrestling for four years and am currently a senior in high school. I am dedicated to this sport and constantly put in hard work to improve. I am extremely coachable and always eager to learn more about the sport. I always give my full effort both in the wrestling room and the classroom maintaining above a 4.0 GPA during my high school years taking multiple honors and AP classes. I strive to constantly improve myself and those around me in the wrestling room, always trying my best to keep a positive attitude. I’m a two time state placer and 2022 State Champion as well as a three time All American. I have competed on the Idaho National team multiple times at National Duals, Turf Wars, and Fargo Nationals. In 2022 I fell short of my goal of placing at Fargo but this motivated me to train harder this past year and resulted in placing 8th this year in the Junior division. I enjoy wrestling in all three styles and train year round with either my high school team or Suples, my club team.
