Danielle Holt '24 Recruiting Profile

I've been wrestling since I was 3. My wrestling career has recently been taking off. I wrestled for Thunder Ridge High School my freshman and sophomore year. Now I'm gonna be wrestling at Canyon Ridge High School as a junior.  I just finished competing at a few summer tournaments as well as doing camps. My goals as a wrestler is to one day go to the Olympics.  I know as a wrestler that's a bit of a cliche. But I've worked hard at my goals my entire life. Wrestling is a very important apart of my life. I'm an A and B student, I have a 3.2 gpa last I checked. I've been taking duel credit classes. I am a good leader.  I have been in student council in middle school as well as the captain of two different teams. I lead my team this last year to a district title. I overcame some injuries this past season and supported my team. Then I went on for the spring season qualifying for Team Idaho. I ended up taking first at freestyle state 2022 in the 106 weight class.  This year I ended up taking freestyle and greco state at the 106 weight class.
