Terra Booe '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Terra Booe. I am part of the class of 2024. I began wrestling competitively in the seventh grade, after seven years of competing in Brazilan Jiu-jitsu. Since that time I have been training nearly year-round in wrestling because I absolutely love this sport. I wrestle for Allendale High School at 135 pounds, in Allendale Michigan. From 7th-9th grade, I was the only female wrestler on my team and was only able to compete against boys. I just completed my Sophomore season. I placed 4th at the state tournament my sophomore year and 1st at freestyle state that summer. Both my Freshman and Sophomore seasons were shortened due to covid and injuries. In my freshman year, the season started about 2 months late (around January) because of covid and my season ended early because of a back injury, so I was not able to compete in the girls' state tournament.  I was not able to be cleared to be back on the mat until May. In my sophomore year within a month of the season, I broke my elbow and was not able to compete again until about a week before girls' regionals. Despite the injury, I placed 2nd at regionals and fourth at state. Last summer I competed with Team Michigan at The national duals at 138lbs where we placed 2nd, and I personally went 3-4. I also competed at Fargo this summer where I went 3-2 at 132 lbs. My goals are to always increase my skill set, win State Titles, and eventually compete collegiately in both a top academic and athletic program.  Here is a link to my Youtube where you can see videos of me wrestling over the years, and my track wrestling profile.
