Wrestling had been a large part of my life since I was in 4th grade and my older brother joined the sport. I began my journey with the sport in 6th grade when I made the decision to follow in my brother’s footsteps. The sport has provided me with many skills that have helped me grow as a person and athlete. It has allowed me to gain leadership and communication skills and how to be mentally strong. I have been lucky enough to have the same coach from the beginning of middle school wrestling through where I am at currently in high school. In addition to middle school and high school wrestling I have been a part of a great wrestling club that not only teaches me new skills, but has allowed me grow into the young adult I am becoming. Although wrestling is a huge part of my life and a passion for me I am also a passionate violinist and have been in honor orchestra since 6th grade and put a lot of time into that as well. My future goal is to continue my wrestling career while focusing on school and my future dreams of becoming a pediatrician.
