As a high school girl, I have always been drawn to sports that challenge me physically and mentally. Wrestling, in particular, has taken my interest as it requires a combination of strength, endurance, and strategy. I understand that wrestling is a male-dominated sport, but I believe that gender should not limit anyone's ability to compete and succeed. I am willing to put in the hard work and dedication needed to become a skilled wrestler, and I am eager to prove that girls can excel in this sport too. I will be one of Suffern high schools team captains for the 2023/24 season. I am aware that wrestling can be a tough and grueling sport, but I am up for the challenge. I have a competitive spirit, and I enjoy pushing myself to be better every day. I am also a quick learner, and I am willing to listen and take feedback from coaches and teammates to improve my skills. I am excited about the possibility of joining your wrestling team and am committed to giving it my all. Thank you for considering my application.
