I started jiu-jitsu when I was 9, and while I enjoyed it, what truly made me fall in love was the competitions. From there I tried muay thai and knew I wanted to compete at the highest level and do MMA when I was older. So in the first year of middle school I tried wrestling to get better at my take downs. Not only did wrestling help with my jiu-jitsu, but it also allowed me to compete every weekend, which I absolutely love. What I appreciate most about wrestling, aside from the competition, is the incredible work ethic in the mat room and how hard the coaches push you. I love the entire proccess of getting ready to compete-eating healthy, lifting weights, running, mental training, and of course wreslting. I genuinley love the life style of an athlete and everything that comes with it.
