My name is Evelyn Wirfs, I have been playing competitive soccer since 2012. I play primarily as a keeper, but my secondary position is as a center back defense. I have played in multiple tournaments throughout the State of Oregon, Washington and internationally; including Cup Number 1 in Denmark and Gothia Cup in Sweden in 2022. I was starting keeper for my High School Varsity team where we ranked 4th in our league. During the winter I also play in a competitive futsal league with Oregon Premier Futsal, and I am in my High School women's wrestling league to continue full body fitness and exercise during the off months of soccer.
I am interested in going to school for business, or sports business that would allow me to stay connected with the sports community long after I graduate. I am interested in a college that has small to medium sized classes, where real world experience and hands on learning are incorporated into the curriculum.
I am a extremely hard worker, always seeking advice on how to improve my game play and techniques. Always looking to push myself to the next level, and I have a fun personality that allows me to be able to smoothly merge in with other teams and easily make friends and play. I am not afraid to stand out or be seen different, as I am a huge supporter of the LGBTQIA community, and I serve on my schools Student Council and advisory board to ensure fair and equal treatment and representation for my community and fellow students.
