My name is Tristan David Jimenez; I am currently a 5’5, 140 lb Wrestler from Mission Hills, CA class of 2015. Currently, I have a GPA of 3.5 after completing AP and Honors classes. I have competed in wrestling since I was 8 years old. I primarily started as a freestyle wrestler and made the change to folk-style in the seventh grade. I am a proud member and Captain of the Crespi Carmelite High School Wrestling Team. I have also represented Crespi in the League Championships, CIF dual Championships and CIF individual Championships as well. I have taken fourth place at the California State Freshmen Tournament, seventh place at the California State Sophomore Tournament, 2 time runner-up in the Mission Section championships and a 2 time CIF qualifier top eight. I have also earned the Scholar Athlete Award 4 consecutive years, received the Rookie of the Year Award as a freshman, Most Inspirational, Most Dramatic Match as a sophomore and MVP as a senior.
I would like to be part of an institution where academics and athletics are well balanced with a great reputation and tradition. I will be majoring in Film Studies with the hope of having a career in Film and Television. Financial Aid will be a necessity to assist my family and myself reach my goal. I plan to apply my hard work ethic and the values that were instilled in me by my parents as well as Crespi Carmelite High School. Regardless of any division or school I am accepted to, you will receive a hard working student athlete that will strive to make an impact to your program. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Tristan Jimenez
