Hi, my name is Kydyn Lima and I’ve been wrestling for about 6 years. I aspire to wrestle in college, hopefully at a D1 level. After my first year on Varsity at CIF, I’ve been motivated to make it to state. When the pandemic hit, I worked even harder than I did during season.
I was selected to be team captain for 2021-2022 was a state qualifier as well. I was also given the honor of ‘Athlete of the week (published on Press telegram) and Athlete of the Season (winter sports) by my High school Coaches and Athletic Directors . The will, grit, and perseverance that I have will always be in my mindset to be the best that I can be. Every setback I’ve had only motivated me more to work even harder. I see challenges and adversities as steps to greater knowledge and experiences.
