I discovered wrestling on a whim my freshman year of High School and it quickly became the part of my life that I am most passionate about. To me wrestling isn’t just about going and competing, the amount of time and effort it takes to be a high level wrestler is one of the things that truly draws me to the sport of wrestling, going to two wrestling practices a day is enjoyable and working hard doesn’t bother me. Wrestling serves as a reprieve from life, no matter what kind of day I’m having I know that I can get on the mat and I’ll have a smile on my face in minutes. Acting as the team captain on my team also gives me the opportunity to teach the newer wrestlers and expand this sport. My goal is to compete at the highest level, as well as continue my education in college.
