Omer Barak '24 Recruiting Profile

Im Omer Barak and I believe I could be an asset to your wrestling program. I am currently a Sophomore (Class of 2024) at American Heritage School in Delray Beach Florida. Last year I had my first high school Wrestling Season and with a lot of hard work I placed 2nd at States as a freshman, Won a Greco state title, and was an All American at Preseason Nationals in Iowa. This year I am Ranked #1 in the state and i am training hard on bettering my self, and i am looking to win the state championships and become the best version of myself i can be. I currently have a 4.39 GPA and I work hard to keep a balance between wrestling and academics. I have been grappling my whole life being a multiple time Judo National Champion, and 3x Pan American medalist. I currently train with Olympian and 2x NCAA champion Steve Mocco, 2x Olympian and world silver medalist Shawn Sheldon, Coach Nestor Varona, and former wrestler at Mizzou Coach James Patrick Reese, because of them I am able to implement my skills in judo into my wrestling style. I believe that throughout my high school career, I will improve as a student, as a wrestler, and as a person and have big goals that i will accomplish. It would be amazing to have you consider me as an asset to your program.
