I have been a wrestler for about 8 years and I could never find a substitute for the rush that wrestling gives me from big tournaments to just practice. As a 3 year varsity junior and a member of the STEM academy at Forsyth Central, my whole high school career has been a huge task of time management which only allowed me to grow as a wrestler by not letting myself waste time at practice or small moments of free time I might have during the season. My goal was to be the hardest worker in the room and with that one statement I was able to rise to the top in both wrestling and academics. Balancing this tough act of being good student athlete has made me a very well rounded wrestler and hopefully i will be able to better test my skill in a collegiate environment.
