Ever since 7th grade, the first time I stepped on mat, this sport has been apart of my life. The hard times of losing matches and watching what I eat to make weight taught me the challenges that come with this sport to not just succeed on the mat but also in life. It made me a harder worker and also showed me how much I need to push myself to see the results I have dreamed of. I know there is a lot I need to work on and I know there is always room to improve. As I go into the 11th grade I will be excited to be put into a leadership roles to help and guide my younger teammates and peers into becoming better athletes and students. I am looking ahead into my future, and I hope to continue to my own journey in my wrestling career into the next level. I am ready for the challenges to come that I know will only push me to become a better wrestler.
