Rev Baptista '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Rev Baptista and I am a member of Class of 2025. I go to Aiea high school located in Oahu, Hawaii and I would love to have an opportunity to wrestle in college if given the chance.

I started wrestling when I was in  the fourth grade, and immediately fell in love with the sport. I grew up in a wrestling family which made me closer to the environment, appreciating the different mats i would see throughout my career.

Over the years it has taught me discipline, commitment, hard work, and dedication. During the course of my journey i’ve had to learn that wrestling isn’t just about being physically stronger but also being mentally secure. Through perseverance I am able to do what i’m capable of and more.  

I have been fortunate enough to make connections with those who surround me, my friends who continue to motivate me at practices and even during matches.. Those of who I can also call family. Wrestling is my sport and for that I know it will serve me well in all aspects of my life.
