My name is Jackson Duncan. I'm a hard worker. I'm sure there are lots of athletes that say that.
I didn't decide to wrestle until my 8th grade year and it was to keep in shape for football. It was a covid year and our season was cut short but by then I had the wrestling bug. I wrestled again my Freshmen year. I was not good. I was slow and over weight. I have had to work very hard at this sport that I love to be able to see the results I wanted. I wasn't born with natural talent. It comes from hard work. My moto is Champions are built on weekends and off days (I heard this from another athlete and it stuck with me). I wrestle with both my High School team and Club team. I'm hitting double practices Mon through Saturday (unless there is a weekend tournament).
I think I would be a good addition to any team as I am willing to work hard. I'm happy to show up early and be the last to leave. I'm always willing to lend a helping hand, mop mats, whatever I can do to help my team. I just want an oppurtunity to work hard and learn. My Dad is active duty Air Force and I have moved around alot. This has allowed me to meet many people, learn from them, and has taught me to be resilent.
I'm looking forward to wrestling in college while I persue a degree in Sports Managment and Economics. Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile.
