Gabriel Muilenburg '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am currently a senior in high school, class of 2025, at Glenns Ferry High School. I have been holding a 3.1 GPA in school. I am a strong leader and currently the senior class vice president. I would love to continue my wrestling after high school. In 2022 as a freshman, at 98 pounds, I was a district champion and a Idaho state champion. In 2023 as a sophomore, at 106 pounds, I was a district champion and Idaho state Champion. In 2024 as a junior, at 120 pounds, I was a district champion and Idaho state runner- up. After high school season in 2024, I went to my first national tournament, NHSCA in Virginia Beach, where I went 2 wins and 2 losses. I look forward to going to more this Spring. 

My junior year, we had a large influx of freshman (new to wrestling) and I took a great deal of time to help teach them the basic foundation to the amazing sport of wrestling. This year I am the only senior on our team, I look forward to this season where I can help those younger than me, while improving my own skills. While I am not 100% sure of what career I would like to follow after high school, I do know I want to wrestle. Currently I am leaning towards welding or construction / business management in college. I enjoy cross country and baseball in my time away from wrestling.
