Daniel Oscik '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Daniel Oscik I'm originally from Chicago, IL now living in evergreen park, IL. I actually started wrestling in high school, I played football before and going into my freshman year I continued to play and my freshman coach is the head wrestling coach. later on in the season he had most of us from football come out to wrestle and I was alright, and now I only wrestle. My college goals are really just to wrestle anywhere and get a good education, I think I would be a good part for a team because I have a lot to offer. Unfortunately my freshman and sophomore years have been cut short due to knee injuries but thankfully that's all over, I wrestle for my high school and a club called Gilbert's Grappling in Country Club Hills,IL. also another unfortunate part about high school is I didn't apply myself as much as I should have academically which was a mistake I learned from and I'm still learning from, my freshman year I slacked when I shouldn't have been. but my hopes for college are just to go somewhere and wrestle but mostly to get a degree.
