Personal Statement
My highest achievement in my high school career on paper is placing 4th in the state. However, I feel that I have much room to improve as a student-athlete. My accomplishments on paper only show my athletic talent. As an individual, I have learned much about myself through the sport of wrestling. With that experience, wrestling has helped me build as a person and has rooted in a devotion to becoming a well-balanced wrestler qualified for competing at the collegiate level.
With my athletic and academic ability, I was fortunate enough to attend Providence Catholic High School, with an excellent wrestling program. Over my four years of attending Providence, I have built a foundation for a life grounded in character, discipline, and sacrifice. I am searching for an institution that is a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I trust that I have both the talent to wrestle and the academic ability to compete on the college level that will benefit a program. As a three-sport athlete and a state qualifier in each sport, I have the experience to be a key athlete on your team.
