Ray Grant '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ray Grant and boy do I love this sport of wrestling. I haven't been in this sport for as long as some other people that do it, but I compete in a lot of really elite tournaments such as the tournaments of the ISWA(Indiana Wrestling Association). Their are many reasons why my father put me in this sport and I think they are very important reasons. Wrestling doesn't only make me a better athlete, but a better person. When I was little, in some sports such as football and baseball I couldn't stand the fact of losing. Wrestling made me think twice about throwing a fit when I lose, but because of this sport, in life I am not a sore loser as I used to be. Now that I have been in this sport for a good amount of time, it has become my best sport, and one of my collegiate goals is to wrestle for any college. So for any colleges looking for someone out there hopefully I will be a good fit for the program and hopefully this collegiate level of wrestling will not only make me better at my wrestling abilities, but help me become a better person.
