I am a middle child. What does that have to do with being a good candidate for a team? Well, being a middle child entails that I have both an older sibling and a younger sibling. We may not always get along with each other and we may not always like each other, but we are a team. Having older and younger siblings have taught me different important lessons. First of all, I understand what it is like to be a follower (due to my older sibling), and that is crucial for a team to work, otherwise, you have a group of individualists, which are detrimental to teamwork. The second lesson that is taught by having a younger sibling was what it was to like to be a leader. Being a leader isn't about telling others what to do, but by leading by example. By always representing the team, and most importantly, admitting when you're wrong. Finally, the third lesson. I'm the middle child, but we are all on the same team. We stick together through thick and thin.
So why am I a good candidate for your team? First and foremost, I am a middle child.
