Sorensen Wynn '23 Recruiting Profile

After falling in love with wrestling my freshman year of high school, all athletics were shut down (due to Covid) at the conclusion of the wrestling season. Realizing an opportunity to make up for lost time I immediately joined multiple wrestling clubs and developed my wrestling skills, an unwavering work ethic, and desire to get better. After grinding in the off-season I went from not knowing how to shoot a double leg to a district champ, regional champ, state placer, and MAWA National qualifier. I've also been ranked #18 in the entire state of Maryland and #6 in my region. I believe my work ethic and affinity for getting better will establish me as a state champ this coming wrestling season and elevate me to a college level.
