I started my wrestling career in 9th grade, it was my first introduction to being on a sports team and I fell in love with the sport. After that season I knew that this sport was what I wanted to invest all my time into. I joined a local club ran partially by my high school coach and start to attend every practice possible. Over the covid year i continued to work year round and started my first year of varsity wrestling at Hammond, that season I ended with a 34-4 record, became a county champion, a regional finalist, and a state qualifier. I started as a kid who only won 2 matches their freshman year to where I am now and I have every intention to continue improving.
