My family is the most important part in my life. I want to make them proud and to show them that I appreciate all the support they have given me through out my years in school and athletics. Education is very important to me and will prepare me in moving forward and becoming a productive responsible person in life. Now in my senior year I look back and realize how my education played an important role in shaping me into a young adult man. I look forward in engaging in new challenges and experiences in college. I am hoping that anyone who views my profile can gain a little understanding of who I am and where I want to go. I have an appreciation for my ability to face challenges head on, and utilize the those experiences for learning. I am a student first and an athlete second. I know that I can compete in the classroom and strive to improve in my academics. As an athlete I work hard to better my self and always push my team mates to do the same. I have to work harder then the next person, but that only makes me stronger. I love the team concept, because of the experiences you gain from team mates, but most from the life long friendships you gain. There is no limit in what I can achieve and how I choose to move forward will have an impact on reaching my goals. My dad has always told me that failure is my teacher, and it is up to me to take the failure and turn it into success. I am my father’s son, and though I have given him grief when he has instructed me, I have always kept his advice close to my heart. My dad says to me "Aaron I want you to be a better man than me" I now know what my dad meant. So, for dad and mom, I thank you for making sure my homework was always completed and for being at all my competitions and for encouraging me when I experienced trials and tribulations. I know that my journey through life will bring me obstacles and failures, but I know that what I have learned as a Son and from all the challenges I have experienced as a Student athlete will help me persevere. My dad says "Details" Details" Details" it is what will keep you from getting into trouble and if there is a problem, know that there is always a solution, but you must initiate to find it."
I am unsure as to what field of study I will pursue, but I am sure that what ever field I choose, it will be as an advocate. I would also like to study cyber security and Information technology as a secondary. Both of my parents graduated from college, and I would like to follow them. I am open to all types of colleges and Universities. I had a great 2011 season qualifying for the Maryland State wrestling championships. I am 6.0" 173 Lbs. 2012 Montgomery County 170 Lbs Champion. 2012 Maryalnd 4A/3A West Regional Champion. 2012 Maryland State Wrestling Championship 2nd Place. 2011 runner-up in county duals, runner -up in regionals, runner-up in Smithburgh duals and undefeated at the Aberdeen Invitational. I competed in the National High School Coaches Association Championships in Virginia Beach June 2011. Now in my senior year I have wrestled in the 170, 182, and 195 Divisions to help my team fill in gaps. I have received the Smithsburgh Invitational Most Outsatnding Wrestler and won the 172 Lbs Campionship. I am looking for a school who offers personal attention to their students. I would like to board at the school, and have no preference on geographical location. I would love to play in D1 or D2 or D3. Education is important to me and I realize that in moving forward into manhood, education is what will prepare me to become a productive individual in society. I am a realist and know in playing collegiate sports, I have to work to earn a spot on any team. I welcome hard work and look forward to learning from my coach and teammates. I would like to thank my High School Coaches Rob Wendel, and Peter Checo for seeing the potential in me, and pushing me to enhance my abilities. I would also like to thank Coach Carl Adams of Boston University for helping me to enhance my skills and for providing me an opportunity to compete against the best at his intensive training camp. I learned a great deal about my self and what I can be on the mat.
