Personal Statement

Hey, I'm Antoan. I've been wrestling since I was 8, and I've got to say I really fell in love with the sport. It's something I always looked forward to, summer wrestling camp, practice after a long school-day to clear my head, and driving out to compete on early weekend mornings. I aspire to use my love for this sport to an advantage, by wrestling through high-school and hopefully taking it to college.

I'm a good candidate because I will admit, I'm not the top of the top, but I sure have the will to get there. I'm not the athlete that throws a fit after a loss, and I'm not the athlete that rubs a win in your face. I'm the athlete that will offer my hand to those whom I beat, and especially those who beat me. I look forward to working with you all!

The Turtle Power Training System at your door! For five straight days, wrestlers will learn from the University of Maryland Wrestlers and Coaching Staff while having fun playing games, developing agility, and increasing muscle memory. With a focus on technical development, program specific drills, and live wrestling geared to help young athletes maximize their potential. We will utilize two wrestling areas to ensure older/advanced and younger/novice wrestlers each camper has the best experience possible. This camp is the perfect summer time tool for beginners and experts alike!
