Gage Owen '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello,

My name is Gage Owen and  I am currently a Sophomore at South Carroll High School in Maryland.  I had a very successful Freshman season which concluded in being the County, Regional, and State Champion at 120 pounds.  Unfortunately, we did not have a complete high school season this year due to COVID-19, but I’m looking forward to a great Junior year.  Despite the fact that we only had a County wrestling season, I have had many opportunities for mat time.  I have wrestled in about 70 matches since July of 2020 in various dual and individual tournaments.  Most recently, I competed in the USA Wrestling National Showcase in Iowa.  In the next two months, I will be competing at NHSCA Sophomore Nationals and NHSCA National Duals in Virginia Beach.
