As a young boy I had always dreamed of ridiculous things like becoming a multimillionaire or owning my own private island and other absured dreams. However one dream that has followed me throughout my childhood is to go to college. As I have grown up it has been increasingly important to me that I realize this dream. It means a lot to me that I will be the first man in my family to attend college. I am grateful that my parents raised me with the understanding that college would be in my future and that they have provided me with the opportunities to do so. My other dream that has continued to grow from childhood is to wrestle at the college level. The one moment of my wrestling career that really impacted me was during my sophmore year at the MHSAA State Finals. I went two and out after losing my second match 1-0. I had cut my opponent and attempted to take him down in the third period but no matter how hard I pushed my self, I could not win the match to move on. The frustration i felt at that moment is what motivated me to train even harder and push myself to becoming a state champion my junior year, which I achieved.
