I started wrestling at the age of nine after watching my older brother wrestle a season. I knew I wanted to be a wrestler. My biggest influence on who I am today comes from my parents. They have given me opportunities to learn life lessons, commitment, responsibility, and accountability through guidance and the introduction to sports. My goal for college is to earn a degree in computer science while continuing to wrestle at another level.
I have learned through wrestling that I am my biggest opponent. It is up to me to push myself to get better and stronger. It is up to me to set goals and reach those goals, then to set new ones. It is up to me to do my best to win with grace as well as to lose with grace and to stay humble while striving to become better everyday. I have learned from having flexibility and being double jointed that I am able to get out of difficult positioning. I am a bottom wrestler. I broke the school record for reversals for being able to maneuver around easily.
