Personal Statement

I've been on the mat since I was 6. I trained traditional MMA my whole childhood. 5 years after I started training I moved to North Carolina. At the start of middle school I searched for opportunities to train again with other people and I was blessed with wrestling. Whether it be backyard bouts, weightlifting sessions, or bingewatching NCAA tournaments with my friends, I built an obsession to wrestle collegiately. I officially joined the Reagan Highschool wrestling team in September of 2023 and have made this sport my life ever since. Something I can bring to your team is a gladiator mentality on the mat, great grades in the classroom, and showing what it means to be a college wrestler representing his school. An aspect that seperates myself from other student athletes is my desire to bend styles and learn new technique. In my 9 years of combat sports I have never stuck with one true style and my form is always growing. I have always built off of my strengths and my opponents weaknesses in every individual fight or bout, and part of doing that is learning something new every second of mat time or film review I get.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
