Cameron Mahaffey '23 Recruiting Profile

Wrestling has been my love since I was 7 years old. I have many characteristics that separate me from other recruits. The first of which is leadership. As varsity team captain, I took this very seriously. I worked with and mentored underclassmen. I always try to lead by example and set high standards and work ethic in the wrestling room. The next characteristic that stands out the most to me is my work ethic. Wrestling is the most demanding sport and I give it everything and then some when I'm in the wrestling room. And finally, I believe I am very coachable. This may be my best characteristic and one that has enabled me to make great relationships with my coaches and the upperclassmen that came before me.
