I started wresting 5 years ago in 7th grade. It was one of the best decisions of my life because it’s become the sport I love most and has helped make me into the person I am today. I am a big guy with a big heart with big aspirations and goals. I want to compete at the college level of wrestling. I was pulled up to varsity freshman year to gain experience of how highschool wrestling is and I only went 1-4. My sophomore year was a little better even though I didn’t place at districts I didn’t improve to 4-9. My junior year is where I really took off and did big things such as placing 8th at the flo-Xcalibur tournament, taking 3rd at districts, becoming a regional qualifier, and coming one win short of earring a regional medal. I look forward to every minute of grinding for my senior year because I set my goal for a state medal this year. I’m one of the biggest guys on my team but my teammates tell me I’m one of the hardest working guys on the team despite my size. I have a great deal of determination and self preservation as I’m sure any wrestler has but I don’t just do the typical heavyweight stuff. I watch my idol Kyle Snyder and his techniques and try and mimic him. I also try and be as quick as some of the lighter weight kids on the team but as strong as aggressive as possible at the same time. My dream is to get a scholarship to wrestle for a Division 1 or Division 2 college. If you would like to contact me and talk more please text me or email me!
