I wish to compete at the highest level of college sports, and What makes me different is that I have faced a lot of adversity and still keep pushing and working hard towards my dreams. I had major spinal surgery due to scoliosis from growth issues. I was born with a tumor on my pituitary gland. The surgery was in March of 2024 and required 18 screws and two rods in my back. I was told I would also be in recovery for at least a year and was running two miles a day within the first two months and I am already back competing on the wrestling mats which was within six months of the surgery. Even all of this and growing up in a single-parent household with just my dad and siblings hasn't stopped me.
