Lawson Nagel '20 Recruiting Profile

Since my freshman year I've wanted to wrestle in college, and every year from then on I've pushed myself harder and harder in hopes of being able to get a scholarship for wrestling. I may not have a better record compared to many other kids but my hard-working ethic is shown in the kids I defeat on the mat. I've gone from being the scrawny freshman on varsity to pushing myself every single day in order to win the state championship this year. I'm proud of myself for being able to not only achieve what I've achieved on the mat but to also stay focused in the classroom while doing so. As a result of my focus in the classroom I am going to receive a distinguished diploma when I graduate. I know how not only to push myself but to also push my team as a whole to get better.
