Timothy Williams '12 Recruiting Profile

I'm 6'2 and about 180 lbs but I will most likely wrestle at 171 this year. I'm the fastest sprinter on my team everytime when we do sprints. I can run a mile at about 6:20 but I know I can go faster if I trained at it like I do wrestling. I'm soon gonna be on my 4th year of varsity wrestling at Parkland High School as a Senior. My junior year i was co-captian of the team and my senior year I will be team captain. I am known to be the hardest working on my team and when people have any questions I'm the one they ask. I'm the unquestioned leader on my team and strive to be the best. Right now some of my goals are to makeit to state and compete at a high level there and place. No one has won a match at state since my current coach has tooken over the team and I am working everyday to see that I am the first. My dream for some time now is to wrestle at college at a high level. As of right now I am not really sure where I would like to go to college. I just want an oppurtunity to fulfill my dreams of wrestling beyond high school.I will do what it takes to acheive it and I am looking forward to any oppurtunities. The size and criteria of the school does not really matter to me at this moment. My family does have financial needs right now and I'm sure I will need financial aid wherever I go. I have a  lot of options right now on what my major will be. Right now I'm considering being a physical education coach and wrestling coach. I know wrestling is apart of my future and will pursue that. My athletic goals for after high school are to wrestle at the college level no matter what the division I am in. I want to make an impact wherever I go and want to inspire others by my work ethic , leadership and dedication. I would love this oppurtunty. My education is also very important to me. i am in the top 10 percent of my class and I am climbing up the ranks somewhere in the top 20.
