I am a very competitive person by nature who is continuously looking for ways to challenge and improve myself, both academically and athletically. Wrestling became my passion not just because I have had a lot of success, but for the battle to dominate instead of just winning. I understand that technique matters in wrestling and it takes a lot of hard practice to get it right. My club wrestling coaches and training partners will tell you that I am very trainable and I will give 110% to better myself on the mat. Winning a state championship is my goal for next season. The last two seasons have fallen short of this goal due to a medical injury in the quarter finals (2016) and illness during regionals (2017). Hardships and illnesses such as these throughout my career have made me a more determined wrestler. I recently made it to the top 16 at the NHSCA Junior Nationals in Virginia Beach after recovering from my illness. I realized how valuable good training partners are to both challenging me and teaching me to be a better offensive and defensive wrestler. I am willing to put in all the work on my part to improve myself, so I want to wrestle for coaches that are willing to challenge me and instruct me how to continuously improve my performance. I would love to compete at the highest level against top opponents while obtaining a strong education in the degree of my choice.
