Jordan Newman '14 Recruiting Profile

I have been wrestling since age 5. In club programs, I was MN State Folk style and Freestyle Champion at School Boy level and competed on the MN State School Boy Team at Nationals. I was also MN State Champion at Cadet level. In High School, I was named Team Captain my sophomore and junior year and senior year . I was Regional, sectional and Conference Champion and competed in WI State HS Tournament placing 3rd.I also placed 6th at USA nationals in the junior division in folk style as well as placing 3rd in Wisconsin freestyle state and 2nd in Greco. I have completed the J Robinson 28 Day intensive wrestling camp, and attended several other wrestling camps, including those held at Augsburg College, Coon Rapids High School and St. John's NW Military Academy.  My goals for my senior year include wining the State High School Tournament, placing top five at Fargo and continuing to improve my skills to be ready to compete at the collegiate level. I plan to wrestle at 170 lb weight class this year. I am a team leader and hard worker.
