My ultimate goal, in wrestling, is to compete at the Collegiate Level. I want to graduate from a four year college, but my major is undecided. During my Freshman year of wrestling, I made it to Sectionals, but I had to pull out of the tournament due to a thumb injury. The doctors would not let me compete anymore that day. This was a hard pill to swallow. I'd worked so hard all year and now my season was over. Well, that just made me hungry for next year. I train year round at the Crass Trained Weigh-In Club, in Eau Claire, WI. I have been going there since seventh grade. I know that what you put into practice is what you get out on the mat, during competitions. Going through my sophomore year, this wrestling season, I took each match one at a time. Win or lose I would work with my coaches and teammates at practice and spend time watching videos of my matches, to learn how to better my skills. I made it all the way to the finals in the 2020 Wisconsin High School State Tournament this year, and I was the runner-up at 160 pounds in Division 2. What did I learn? This just made me hungry for what is to come and the training starts now.
