Eric Bauer '19 Recruiting Profile

Coach,

Please allow me to introduce myself, my name is Eric Bauer and I have been wrestling since I was in kindergarten.  I really enjoyed the sport from the very first time I was introduced to it at a camp with coach Mike DeRoehn from UW Platteville.  I have always thrived on the challenge of the competition.  I have been told by several coaches that I was the type of kid a coach could build a team around.  I have had teachers comment that I am a better student during the wrestling season.  My parents have raised me to be a person of good character and honor, which I have always tried to be.  I am not perfect or the best, and I do not win every match.  But I try to learn from my mistakes and losses to make myself better.  This is true on and off the mat.
