Ever since I was 7 when my Dad bought me my first baseball glove and a bat, I have been hooked to baseball. My first ever baseball league, I caught, I pitched, I played SS and outfield and won the coaches' "Dirtiest DarkHawk" award.
I am a very ambitious, dedicated, intelligent and a passionate person. All through my short baseball career, I have had to work hard to prove my worthiness. I was the last cut from the local little league all star team in 2004. I worked hard and earned my spot in 2005 state championship team and the world series 2006 team. I repeated the same pattern of working hard to deserve a spot in my high school career at Desert Vista. Through my academics and my baseball work ethics, I got selected to the 2009 Varsity team. I was not a starter in the early season, but I quickly became a starter for the majority of the season due to my desire to succeed! In the end, my coaches are always glad that I am on their team.I can also switch hit a little bit, and definitely have the potential to become a successful switch hitter.
I intend to get a best academic achievement in Kinesiology and continue my passion for baseball, fitness and education despite financial challenges that I face to achieve my goals.
My chances of becoming a MLB player are scarce, but my chances of becoming the man I want to be are extremely high! I WILL achieve my dreams despite the challenges!
