What the Coaches are Saying...
Oct 22, 2018

“Illinois Wesleyan University is known as one of the very best schools in Illinois and in the country. The acceptance rate into medical school is among the top in Il, and students who attend are part of a family for life. The women's tennis program is growing in stature. The coach, Greg Lumb, joined the team in 2017 and has instilled a renewed enthusiasm for the game of tennis, and competing at a high level. The experience on the team is one of camaraderie, hard work, win and lose as a team, lift each other up as individuals and collegiate athletes. Our players are friends on the court and off, and very often the team does off court activities such as putt putt, bowling and outdoor games as part of the team bonding activities. Coach Lumb has over 15 yrs coaching experience, studying extensively the Spanish method of training. He believes in maximizing both the physical and mental aspects of the game to bring the highest level of success to the player.”
