    What the Coaches are Saying...
    Oct 01, 2018

“Student-athletes on the Men's and Women's Tennis Teams enroll at Oakton, a two-year community college with campuses in Des Plaines and Skokie. We are located in the Region IV of the NJCAA and compete in the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference, which consists of eight members who compete in twelve sports for athletic conference championships. Looking to get in the game? Start here! Attending Oakton is one of the most cost efficient way to earn two years of college credits and play in one of the best collegiate tennis programs in the Midwest. Spend two years at Oakton and you’ll join a distinguished legacy of men and women who chose Oakton as their first college and participated in a distinguished intercollegiate athletics program. The majority of student athletes find Oakton the perfect vehicle to transfer to Division I, II or III colleges and universities across the country such as Purdue University, University of Illinois, University of Wisconsin, Northern Illinois University, to name a few. Our Men's Tennis program has placed in the top 3 in conference for the last three years and in 2015, we sent our entire team to Nationals. Our Women's Tennis program is brand new and has great potential. With exceptional coaching, training and match schedule, we strive to take first in conference in our inaugural season and qualify individuals for Nationals.”
