What the Coaches are Saying...
Sep 11, 2018

“Three Core Values 1. Attitude: Having a positive attitude towards life. Believing in yourself, and the ability of your 2. Commitment: A total commitment to being the best, on and off the mat.  Being a part of this 3. Class: Always act in a first class manor. You represent yourself, your team, your family, and this program (Pride).  program means there needs to be a 100% commitment in every aspect of your life.  It is going to require you to prioritize your life so that you can achieve your dream.  Everyone who dreams, will make sacrifices in their life in order achieve their dream. Dream, Determined, Sacrifice, Priority.  university. Make sure that in every aspect of your life you are acting as though you are setting an example for those around you. Wrestling Program Philosophies “One More” A philosophy and life style to live by. Every day you will do one more. Maybe that means you stay after practice and do one more 7 minute match, maybe it means one more pull-up, or maybe it means one more effort with someone who is having a bad day. Mediocrity is not acceptable. “Take The Stairs” The mentality that, not only will I physically take the stairs when there is an opportunity to do so, but I will never take a short cut to achieving my goals. It goes hand-in-hand with doing One More. The extra effort to do things right the first time, because in life there are no second chances. These philosophies and values will not work unless you buy into our system. You need to believe that there is no better place in the world then where you are now.
