Carter Wells '23 Recruiting Profile

My goal for the future is to continue to develop and play baseball while having a solid academic career in preparation for the next level - either in life or baseball. It has always been my dream to play baseball at the next level. In baseball, I feel that I am a solid option for your team as I'm willing and eager to learn any positions to help the team be successful and always push through adverse situations to be better than I was the day before. In academics, I feel that by working  hard in the classroom, I am better prepared to be a model student-athlete and create academic value for the team. My parents have always pushed the importance of hard work in the classroom as well as on the field. I feel that I am different from others in that I'm willing to listen to coaches to be a better player and learn from mistakes. I have a high personal standard for myself in both athletics and academics as no one can be harder on me than myself.
