I am a dedicated student and athlete, who also enjoys travelling and spending time with my family. Diligent in my studies in French Immersion, I consistently achieve exceptionally high marks and awards in my education. Committed to my baseball career, I play with the Webber Wildcats Academy, achieving year over year success as an infielder and pitcher. I enjoy skiing, travelling and being in the mountains.
I have taken my DELF (Diploma Etudes Langue Francais) A1 and received a score of 89% which shows aptitude in bilingualism at a post-secondary and career level. I want to play high level baseball while going to school to achieve career goals of Med School. I consistently achieve high marks in all of my courses, and have received Honors with Distinction and several top of class awards. I recently received an Optimist Essay Competition award and scholarship.
On the baseball diamond, my biggest strength is my dedication and ability to grind and work. I am a firm believer of Derek Jeter’s saying “There may be people with more talent than you, but there is no reason for someone to work harder than you”. My integrity means everything to me- I play clean, work hard, and compete for love of the game. I am a big game player- I love competing under stressful pressure filled moments-it’s often when I play my very best. While rotating between shortstop and being a pitcher, I achieve success on the mound with an 88 mph fastball and infield velocity of close to 90 mph. I hold a personal pitching record at the Best of the West tournament in 2022 with 15 strikeouts in 6 innings. I recently was selected to attend the Blue Jays Canadian Futures event in Toronto in September 2024 to showcase amongst the top Canadian baseball players.
