Ryan Ludwig '21 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals are to play at the highest level I can on the team that wants and sees potential in me. I will be able to bring leadership and hard work to any team. I am open to playing anywhere on the field that a coach sees fit. I am a primary catcher but I am prepared to play anywhere on the field. I am easygoing and I get along with teammates, coaches and staff. I am always the first one to the field on game days and practices. I always show up prepared and on time to get better and learn more about the game of baseball. 

I have been named the captain for both my travel team both in 2018 (Fr.), and 2019 (So.), and I was named a captain for my academy (high school) team for the 2019 (So.), 2020 (Jr.), and 2021 (Sr.) seasons. I pride myself day in and day out to be the best player and teammate I can be both on the baseball field and away from the field in the classroom, halls and in my community. I am very passionate in making sure that my teammates and I always have a affect on the community outside of baseball.
