Dylan Smith '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Dylan Smith, I am 5'10, 175, and I am the starting varsity catcher at Campo Verde High School (Junior). This year as a Junior I was named Co-Captain and received "All-District 2nd Team" recognition. Last year as a Sophomore I was a Co-Captain. I received awards including "Player Of the Week," "All-Region Honorable Mention," and the "Coyote Pride Award" (also known as the coach's award). I have a great passion for the game of baseball and have no intentions of ending my career after high school. I am hard-working and dedicated to the sport, and I am always finding ways to improve my game. To me, there is no off-season because every day is another opportunity to improve. I consider myself a "student" in the game of baseball because I am very coachable and have an open mind. Since I would do anything to accomplish my dream and play ball in college, I am willing to attend any college that would provide me the chance to play early on in my college experience.
