Personal Statement

To me baseball is life. If I am successful on the field I can also be successful off the field. The qualities I have picked up throughout the years make me an exemplary asset to your team.

I have been fortunate enough to receive tips and training from some of the greatest baseball minds in the world, such as Mel Didier and his son Bob Didier, my Catching Instructor. Shea Hillenbrand is my friend and personal Hitting Instructor. These men have inspired the work ethic and passion I have for the game today.

Congratulations! You have been selected for our 17u D-backs Academy Summer Team. This team will compete in the USA Baseball Team Championship and the AABC World Series this summer. Workouts will take place at Salt River Fields. The goal of our program is to develop players on and off the field, educate them as to the process of being recruited/scouted and encourage them to be leaders in their school community. We plan on playing baseball the “D-backs Way,” with an aggressive style on the field and with a professional approach to the game. Here are some quick reminders about the summer season: · May 17: Organizational meeting (parents & players) at Salt River Fields · May 18-21: Mini Camp at Salt River Fields · June 12-15: 17u pre tourney camp · June 16-23: 17u USA BB National Championship Tournament · July 10-13: 17u pre tourney camp · July 14-19: 17u AABC Don Mattingly World Series
