James Saw '22 Recruiting Profile

I have been swimming for almost my whole life. During my 4th and 5th grade year I was a part of a recreational swim team which introduced me to racing. Going into middle school I joined my current club swim team. My time on the swim team has taught me the valuable lessons of hard work and what it means to be a team. If it weren’t for my current team and all of the friends and coaches who have supported me, I wouldn’t be where I am now. Through the years I have tried my hardest to improve on techniques that increase my speed and efficiency in the water. I am always looking forward to new criticisms that will help me make even more improvements to my strokes. Besides swimming, I am looking for a school that offers great academics that will help set me up for a bright future. I value my academics and do my best to try and balance it out with swimming and my personal life. That is why I am looking for schools that offer good education in engineering, physics, and business.
