When you think about an all around athlete, think about me. I play two sports for my high school and start on both of them. For Baseball, I can pitch, play outfield and infield. As a student at the 15th ranked high school in America, you can count on me to be a thinking player. I don't just play the game, I know the game. I understand the intricacies of the game and the intellect required to be a skilled all-around player and smart base runner. I pick up new skills fast and work well with team mates to impart those skills to others.
Besides my play, I have heart. I love the sport. This shows in my daily work ethic. When you ask something of me, you will hear "Yes Coach" and see me accomplish what you have asked with a smile. I play for the team and for the school. While I want to be a great player for myself, I think the most important thing I can do is help my team succeed. I understand that a team is only as good as its weakest link and so I take pride on being a brother and a friend to my teammates because I know we will succeed or fail together.
