Hayden Goines '27 Recruiting Profile

I have been dreaming of playing college baseball since I was young, but I also enjoy doing a lot of different things outside of baseball. I also play football in the fall and love to go hunting and fishing. I spend time with my dad in our shop learning to weld and build different things with metal and wood. I like to ride 4-wheelers with my friends especially after a good rain that turns our back field into a mud hole. 

I consider myself a team player and understand the importance of good teamwork and friendships that evolve from playing sports. I am a good student, maintain good grades, and have good character. I have been recognized by my counselors, teachers, coaches, and my friends parents for my good attitude and manners. I always do my best in class and plan to continue to make good grades. I was recognized in 2022 as a Jr. Knights Scholar and 2023 as a Knights Scholar at my high school, but to me…my greatest accomplishment so far was, being named the defensive player of the year for my varsity baseball team as a freshman.  

I am also active in FCA, my church youth group and my Sr. High FFA chapter. My freshman year, I was elected President of our Jr. High chapter.
