Colt Allen '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Colt Allen, and I’m reaching out because I’m eager to get back into baseball. Though I haven’t played since the 9th grade, my passion for the game has never faded, and I’m ready to dedicate myself fully to improving and contributing to a team.

I’m 5’9”, 164 pounds, and have a background in competitive track and soccer. I can run the 100m in 11.1 seconds and have a mile time of 4:48, showcasing my speed and endurance. My athleticism, combined with my work ethic, has always driven me to push my limits. I believe these qualities would translate well to the field, whether in baserunning, fielding, or even developing into a power hitter as I build more strength.

I understand I’m not your typical recruit, but I’m willing to put in the work, day in and day out, to catch up and exceed expectations. What I may lack in recent baseball experience, I make up for in sheer determination and the drive to constantly improve. I’m asking for the opportunity to prove myself and to bring my relentless work ethic and competitive spirit to your team.
